Wonderful alright.

the intro was sick with the drumming and the bass as well as for building the structure for the whole song. I love how the song is able to shift between all of its phases and the melody ain't half bad either, as always i enjoyed it. And no do not take that melody out in the end it fits with the intro. As with mastering I can't help much, that is never my strong spot.

gee wilickers, mister, thanks!

Uber-Hopeful Sounding

The first thing i love is how it slows down when the melody pops out in the second half of the loop. Also how the melody complements the chord pattern is so amazing (or vice versa,) hell the melody in itself had a sweet effect going. the first half reminds me of one of those adventure games theme and the ending changed but still sounded as it fitted. So overall it was a pretty solid song. 5 Diggs outta 5.

well garsh.
i've been writng a lot of stuff out lately, and 8-bit songs are just easier to do right now.
the compy crashes every 8 minutes :s
still, thanks for the comment!

I'm flattered. Blissful second part to the song :D

(I'm reviewing its potential as a full song since this is a demo:)
Can't wait to hear how this sounds with a vocal track. The bass sound reminded me of the wetness feeling the bass from Air's Napalm Love brought upon my ears, so kudos for the bass. Dubstep's an awesome challenge for you since your into all that awesome rhythm. Just as every one of your demo songs this has potential...

After carefully listening to it I was more impressed at the bass line and how it compliments the chord pattern in the second half of the song. Keeping that bass flavor is a must for the final version. Five_Five

thanks, broham.
i think this will be the song, man.

uber sweetness

even under the distortion you can hear the sweet progress it makes. The rhythm is top notch just like everyone of your works. I really cannot give you a lower grade because as you hear it again and again you can discover little things (like the arpeggios going from one end of my headphones to another) that leave you wanting more. But for a loop, it will do. Kudos as always.

kjhsdgf responds:

you are quite gracious, sir.

O.O > Woah

Reminds me of the secret of monkey island. At the beginning the saw like instruments hurt my ears but goddamn did you build up this song nicely, before I even knew it the whole style switched around. The 8-bit sounds where diggable and a nice addition, this sounds like it will beast more once it is done. Taking a new approach to writing music produces positive results such as this. Well deserved Cinco de Cinco.

kjhsdgf responds:

lol, i made this with a hood on, so the frequencies might be a little high, sorry :P

that's just swell, matey,
thanks

Funky

lol, this sounds fun thought the topic probably isn't. Its the kind of music i'd play if I'm ridding on an autobahn (wait that did not come out right.) The pitch bends where bendin' if that makes since. Funk shows in here and the way the feeling switches was enjoyable. 5 o' 5. I felt some weird voices somewhere on the song but i liked that 2.

man oh man

Right off the bat i could feel the power of the bass in this song. The structure was magnificent to say the least the way you divided the song kept it interesting like the mixing of rain with the beat felt natural, that trumpet like instrument (sorry if i can't nail it right,) gives it the experimental certificate and the way it moves into those strings....damn.....some really good stuff going on. Once again, mixing the Davis brings original music from you. Grats' on another one, keep em' up. 5/5
p.s. it gave me a sort of Gorillaz debut album vibe.

thanks a lot efx

Congrats

I used Steve Reich's phasing technique in this song by accident while watching the video and it sounded so amazing. The chord pattern is classic ambient greatness and the drums just added to the whole atmosphere. The drums kept the rhythm going and the minimal note repeated around the song just added to the creativity. Once again congratulations. 5/5.

It grows.

It picks up halfway through the song which I think its pretty G. As for the sound it oozes of neo-lounge vibe music with some classic techno near the ending mixing in, a splendid combination. I like that quick low to high sound level in the end...now that i think of it it is actually well structured. (pulling a little stream of consciousness there.) 5 Gs out of 5.

kjhsdgf responds:

thanks, G

epic elektro

As epic as all of your songs/loops. The latin is noticeable so congrats on that and the overall song is just fun to listen to.

kjhsdgf responds:

:o thanks
yeah, i try to go back to my latin roots for lat-inspiration.
also, i edited it a little bit, hope you like the tweaks :D
